If you are looking for a very special Christmas dinner, one to remember then this just might be what you re looking for. This month chef Nelly Robinson unveils his degustation Christmas menu.

Nel. restaurant is known for adding surprising twists to each of its six weekly-changing menus but this festive and nostalgic Christmas experience just might be the most interesting.

“We are all kids at heart and we all deserve to be spoilt – this Christmas, myself and the nel. team will do our best to make you feel special,” said Robinson of his inspiration behind the menu. “I’m 32 now but I still get as excited about Christmas as I did when I was four years old!”

The highlight of the menu, sure to raise some child-like excitement at the table, is the Silent Night-themed Christmas candle. A real candle made with bone marrow, it is designed to be lit as guests arrive and slowly melt as they enjoy their first snacks and drinks. Diners will then be served some traditional roast chicken stuffing to tear apart and dip into to the liquid – truly a feast for all the senses!

The nel. Christmas menu will be $118 per guest, with its sommelier matching beverages to each course for an extra $95 each. A Christmas lunch will also be on offer Wednesdays through Fridays throughout December, at $69 for six courses.
