MAX (to play 16) Male, any nationality
Max is Otto’s best friend, and the object of his affection. Max is a gentle, intelligent and creative teen. For years he has been teased about being gay and because of this has emotionally put up walls. He claims to be straight, but Otto hopes he isn’t. Max loves pop music and loves to hang out with Otto, just hanging out and having a good time. He is scared of the school’s bullies, especially Brady.
BRADY (to play 16) Male, any nationality
Brady plays football and is on his way to being a big bloke. He doesn’t care about school. He is a bit of a bully, and especially loves to pick on Max about being gay. But when challenged by Otto, he turns his hatred to Otto. He thinks he is funny, but is not exactly the smartest.
